New York Fashion week has come and gone, and the votes are in! Here are the biggest Spring 2024 trends we will be seeing in stores and on the runway in 2024! From “Mob Wife Chic” and “Capri Pants” to “Prep School” and “C-Suite,” Which one will be your new favorite (or not so favorite) look? Read on to get closet-inspired for Spring.

Rosettes

What better way to say Spring than with sweet rosettes adorning your clothing, hair and accessories. Here are a just a few of our favorite ways to add rosettes to your look.

Bows

We started seeing bows everywhere in fashion late last year and they are back again as one of the “sweetest” crazes still trending. From bow jewelry and hair bows to bow-adorned blouses and dresses, we are guessing the bow statement will be around this Spring - especially for Easter, spring weddings and any formal event.

Kitten Heels

The kitten heel is in for Spring! And right now, there are so many variations of this style to choose from: sandals, sling-backs, boots, and pumps. And if you’re middle-aged like us, then your knees and feet will be thanking you later!

Sequins

I know what you’re thinking, the holidays are over which usually means sequin season is over, but not this year! Add a little sparkle to your Spring outfit with a pastel-hued sequin top, sequin purse, or sequin shoes. Who says you can’t shine all year long?

Mob Wife Chic

You can thank shows like The Offer, Griselda and the rebirth of The Sopranos for this mob-inspired trend. This is by far the most fun trend to play around with. Bring as much drama as you want with thick fur coats in any color, chunky jewelry, leather pants, sexy boots, ruched tops, and tight sweaters. Go big or go home with this one!

Prep School

On the conservative side of the fashion spectrum, we have the prep-school or “preppy” look that will be around this year. Plaids, tweeds, rugby shirts, button-down shirts, stripes, polos, chinos, and loafers are the thing to invest in if you want to embrace this classic, timeless style.

Loafers

As stated in the previous style trend, loafers are a trend you can incorporate into this Spring’s wardrobe. These comfy, classic shoes pair perfectly with preppy styles as well as other styles such as C-Suite and Quiet Luxury which are featured below. Loafers are extremely versatile and look great with chinos, jeans, capris, suit pants, and even skirts and dresses.

Capri Pants

Since first arriving on the fashion scene in the late 1950’s, capri pants have made their way back into many decades, namely the late 80’s and again in the late 90’s. This cropped pant style is perfect for spring and summer looks and pairs well with virtually any kind of shoe from sneakers, flats, sling-backs, and booties! They’re back on trend this Spring so rock ‘em if you got ‘em!

The Color Peach

Pantone’s color of the year for 2024 is, you guessed it, Peach Fuzz. So are we even surprised that this color will be everywhere in fashion this Spring? Luckily, there are many shades of peach to complement every skin tone so invest in your “perfect peach” item this year and celebrate this year’s color!

C-Suite Chic

A lot of us are returning to the office this year, even if it’s just a few times a week. So let’s embrace our “inner office diva” and dress for success with some C-Suite looks. Any pant suit or dress suit will do here. Even a tailored blouse with a chic pair of pants or skirt is a good way to go if you’re ready to try this new Spring trend.

Sling Back Shoes

Sling-back shoes are making a comeback in a big way this Spring. They look great with just about anything from long pants, jeans, capris, dresses, skirts, and suits. They are so versatile, you can dress them up or down and they come in a variety of styles from sandals to pumps.

Elevated Simplicity

An offshoot of the “Quiet Luxury” style of 2023, “Elevated Simplicity” is the new phrase trending in 2024. Investment pieces in simple yet sophisticated cashmere, wool, silk, or fine cotton is what this style is all about. No logos needed or wanted, this trend is all about “old money” that doesn’t need showy labels to feel rich.

Oversized Totes

What more is there to say here. Break out the large totes and filler up! Every shape, color, fabric, and texture is welcome this year!

Sporty Spice

For those of you who love lounging around in the cutest, comfiest, athleisure styles of the moment, this look is stronger than ever in 2024. Be on the lookout for more stylish colors, stripes, color-blocking, over-sized, and flowy styles in the sporty category.

White Sneaks

Who says you won’t use more than one pair of white sneakers? That would be wrong as there are SO many white sneakers (each with their own unique pops of color and patterns) to choose from this year - one for each of those amazing outfits you have planned this week!

Pale Sheers

While the 2024 sheer trend is not for everyone, especially since the trending color is white or cream, if executed the right way, a “sheer” look can be both beautiful and refined. Try this look with lined crochet pieces or with a nude-colored camisole or bra underneath a sheer top. You can also try a sheer camisole under a suit jacket.

Cuffed Jeans

The “cuffed” statement is back. Although we are only showing you cuffed variations of denim below, you can try the cuff trend with chinos, khakis, capri pants, culottes, or other wide-legged pants.

So there you have it. A taste of some 2024 Spring trends to consider for your wardrobe this year. There are plenty of styles to choose from so have fun with it. Clothes can have a huge impact on how you feel or want to feel so for example, if you want to feel sexy, try the mob wife, sequin, or sheer trend. If you want to feel more confident or powerful, try a C-Suite or Elevated Simplicity look. And if you are feeling more playful, add on some capri pants, sneakers, or a pop of peach to your look. The important thing is, don’t be afraid to express yourself!
